My latest review project, Sad Robot Stories by Mason Johnson, was an emotional ride through love, loss and the apocalypse, told by a nameless protagonist whose fool's journey from lost loner to unknowing messiah takes him through questions of gender and species identity, faith and religion, suicide, death and grieving.
